(And Nommy, I probably won't be going this year to KRF since they raised their prices again. The Connecticut Ren Faire is extremely good other than being dry. I'm heading back there Sunday.)

Still not having a drink. Rantarn takes matters into his own hands. Walking behind the bar and into the back room, he sees a large number of casks, kegs, and bottles. Selecting a fine vintage ale, he fills a tankard and returns to the main room.

OK, now, much better. Azziz, here here!

Merle walked purposely up to Rantarn. "That'll be 6.75 for the import. And don't foget my tip."

Rantarn's jaw dropped, wondering how Merle could expect a tip for a drink he didn't serve!

PC awoke from her slumber "This is Merle we are talking about. Breathing at one of his tables requires a gratuity."

Noticing Merle, she waves him over and asks for a Guinness. Once it has been delivered she decides that she has to be honest with him. "I went to Skyline Chile today and I have to say, I didn't think it was all that good. The cheese doesn't melt, I guess it is not suppose to, and it is served on spaghetti. It was kind of like a weird pasta dish. Sorry, I know how much you like it but I think it is one of those regional things, like Verners Soda."

Yeah, Nommy, like I always said, it's not "chili" like you are used to. First, no beans. Second, I'd say it's more sweet than hot, though it does have a little fire. Skyline is not a Tex-Mex recipe. In fact, the creators of Skyline Chili are Greek. A three way, which is what it sounds like Crash had, is spaghetti, chili and grated cheddar cheese. You cut and scoop, not spin, the spaghetti. The cheese eventually melts into a cap over the chili.

Crash, you don't offend me not liking something I like. Could be too, it just wasn't what you expected. ::shrugs::

"What? No Good ole fashioned Bowl of Chile with Melting Cheddar cheese on it?" , Says Nommay as he orders another pitcher of Sammy from Merle.

    Question

I've looked at all the maps I could get my hands on, looking for "Skyline, Chile", but Santiago is the closest I've found.

Maybe it's a town near the southern tip, where you eat chili when it's chilly in Chile?

    Cool

Hey, Prof...thanks but I've got one here myself that Merle brought over.

However, if you need a care package from San Francisco, I'm sure FedEx still delivers.
